“日本語あいうえお” Podcast- Japanese Language Learning Podcast Review
The full title of this podcast is “日本語あいうえお(Japanese podcast for intermediate N3 level)”. It is a Japanese language learning podcast to assist you with learning Japanese at an intermediate level. The host, Natsumi, talks slow enough that you can easily understand her, and she pronounces words very clearly. She also has a soft and cheerful voice that is really nice to listen to. The only bad thing about this podcast is that there are only 68 episodes.
Natsumi began uploading episodes of the “日本語あいうえお” podcast back in January of 2021, but the last episodes was uploaded in April of 2021. Each episode is only a few minutes long, all of them being less than 3 minutes in length. Natsumi picks a grammar point or topic for each episode, and then explains what it means while speaking only Japanese. She explains the grammar point, then gives a few examples, explains the grammar point again, and finally at the end asks if remember what the grammar point means.
Examples of topics discussed on the “日本語あいうえお” podcast are things like: “など”, “しなければいけません”, “〜にとて”, “AかBか”, “でしょう / だろう”, “〜ようになる”, and “ことになている”. Very useful grammar that you can learn to sound more like a native speaker of Japanese. Natsumi explains things in a way that is easy to understand. She does very well for a one-person podcast and keeps it interesting to listen to.
