Morning Miyajima Streets
The best time to get photos at Miyajima is very early in the morning before the workers and tourists arrive. Of course, you then have to wait for a few hours until all the shops open if you want to buy something. It works out great to arrive early, climb Mt. Misen, and when you get back to the bottom all of the shops will be open. Or, you can just walk to the many different shrines and temples on the island to get photos before people arrive.
