Japanese Sumo Wrestler Asanoyama has been suspended for violating the Sumo Association’s anti-coronavirus guidelines. Specifically, the Rekishi went to nightclubs around 10 times, and went out to eat on 3 ocassions. The Japan News reports that Asanoyama was handed a 6 tournament (1-year) suspension, and a pay cut of 50% for 6-months.

Ethical Spirits, based in Tokyo, has found a way to ferment wood without using heat or strong acids; thus making the resulting alcohol taste better. It too bad that we’ll have to wait another year for it though.
