Asahi Nama Beer Commercial with Yui Aragaki (新垣　結衣)

Continuing the Asahi Nama Beer commercial with Yui Aragaki (新垣　結衣) trend. Ms. Aragaki is a Japanese actress, model, singer, and occasional radio show host. What the Japanese refer to as a タレント (Talent).

This 60 second commercial follows Ms. Aragaki on her way home from work. On her way, she stops at a restaurant/bar and has a draft beer. The commercial transitions to Ms. Aragaki at home, opening up an Asahi Nama Beer; thus drawing the parallel between the draft beer in the restaurant and the can at home.

At the end of the commercial are the words “本当に、お待たせしました”. This basically means “We truly thank you for waiting.”

And let’s not forget the ever present “otsukarenamadesu” instead of “ostukaresamadesu”. She’s telling a dad joke. Or as they say in Japan, an oyaji gag (親父ガッグ).
