I’m in the mood for parks lately. This is another sign from another local park for this kanji reading practice. Here we have five kanji from WaniKani levels 16 and below. See down below for the explanation. Again, the picture on the sign gives a hint to the meaning.

(こう) – public

(えん) – garden; park

(ない) – inside

() – fire

使 (つか) – use

The Words:

公園内 (こうえんない) – inside the park

() – fire

使って (つかって) – to use

いけません – must not do; wrong; not good; of no use

The Meaning:

公園内では火を使ってはいけません。

Don’t use fire inside the park.
